Green Star Solutions have designed this heat pump to operate within its own unique inverter technology. This technology exchanges heat from the outside air with the pool water through a continuous circulation of R32 next generation refrigerant gas. The R32 refrigerant gas is enclosed in its own casing ensuring that it is never mixed with the pool water and does not cause any secondary pollution, exchanging up to 50% more energy via the spiralled titanium exchanger.

The unique inverter technology allows the heat pump to generate more heat and has a much lower impact on the environment making it ecologically friendly. The inverter technology constantly measures the pool water temperature and will adjust the speed of the compressor and fan to run at the most efficient setting.

Higher COP’s equate to greater efficiency and lower energy consumption and thus, lower operating costs. For every 1kw of electricity consumed, Genesis™ – The Next Generation Heat Pumps™ provide up to 16kw od heat in return. Green Star Solutions, Genesis™ – The Next Generation Heat Pumps™ have won two gold awards at the SPASA Awards of Excellence 2022 for sustainable product and sustainable project. The sustainable project gold award was awarded to Green Star Solutions for their works on Smith’s Beach Resort in Yallingup. This project consisted of architectural designs to cater the aesthetic of the resort. Green Star Solutions removed the existing gas-powered heating system which included patching up the roof where the exhaust fans were located. 
Smiths Beach Resort is now fully equipped with 2 new 103kw Genesis™ – The Next Generation Heat Pumps™, used to efficiently warm the resort pool. As well as 1 new 45kw Genesis™ – The Next Generation Heat Pump™ that is used to heat the toddlers pool for 12 months of operation. These new Genesis™ – The Next Generation Heat Pumps™ greatly reduce the facilities running costs, combined with a 100kw PV array, this is the perfect renewable energy heating system.

All Genesis™ – The Next Generation Heat Pumps™ have in built WiFi as a standard and have a smart design touch screen controller that is easy to navigate, setting pool temperatures and switching between heating and cooling modes as required.
