Completed in September 2016 as part of a full redevelopment, this hybrid heating system includes three commercial inverter heat pumps paired with a 30kW solar PV system.

The system delivers up to 105kW of heat output per hour while consuming only 10kW of electrical energy. During daylight hours, the PV system produces surplus energy (up to 20kW per hour), enabling effectively free pool heating.

The system maintains a 25-metre, eight-lane pool and connected 20-metre toddler pool at 28°C with minimal grid reliance.
